Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a full‑time opportunity in a primary school setting? Flourish Education is working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in Dudley to seek a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a fixed‑term contract. This Level 3 Teaching Assistant role is full‑time and will be based across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing general classroom support and assisting pupils with their learning and development. The role will involve working across a range of classes, supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping to create a positive learning environment throughout the school.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.
- Assisting teachers with the preparation and delivery of classroom activities.
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence within lessons.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assisting with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
Requirements
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
- Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A patient, supportive and proactive approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
- A minimum of two excellent references.
