Overview Are you an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Teacher looking for your next full-time opportunity? A welcoming First School in Droitwich is seeking a confident and experienced Reception Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time and long-term basis.
This Reception Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner with strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and the confidence to lead a class independently. You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, with guidance and mentorship throughout, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment.
Responsibilities Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Supporting children's learning through a balance of adult-led and play-based activities
Observing and assessing pupils' progress in line with EYFS expectations
Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
Communicating effectively with parents and carers where required
Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Framework
Proven experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in Reception
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A proactive, organised, and professional approach
The ability to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and support all learners
Benefits Competitive daily pay rates, from £163 to £232, based on previous pay scale and experience
