Flourish Education is recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming, one-form entry primary school situated just outside Nuneaton. This is a full-time role within a supportive school community. While much of the planning will be led by the phase leader, the successful teacher will be expected to contribute to planning, as well as deliver and assess engaging and creative lessons tailored to Year 6 pupils. The role also involves working collaboratively with the class teaching assistant, ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils, marking in line with school policy, and attending staff meetings as required. This position is due to start in the New Year and will continue through to the end of the academic year.
- Full class teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and marking.
- Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for KS2.
- Promoting excellent behaviour management and fostering a positive classroom environment.
- Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience of all students.
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are always followed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and relevant KS2 frameworks.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.
- A passion for inspiring young learners and driving academic success.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school.
