A welcoming two-form entry Primary school in Coventry is seeking a confident and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September, on a full-time basis. This Year 4 Teacher role is ideal for an experienced practitioner with a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the confidence to lead a class independently.

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment, ensuring pupils continue to make strong academic progress throughout the summer term.

As a Year 4 Class Teacher in this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 national curriculum.
  • Marking and assessing pupils’ work, providing clear feedback to support progress.

To be successful in this Year 4 Teacher role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in lower KS2.
  • A strong understanding of the Lower KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A proactive, organised, and professional approach.
  • The ability to plan, differentiate, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners.
