Flourish Education are recruiting for a History Teacher to join a Secondary School in Northern Coventry. They aim to inspire every member of the school community to fulfil their potential. Our partnership school is seeking a History Teacher to deliver subject content, assess pupil progress, and promote an understanding of how historical events shape the modern world to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. This is a full-time role, and the position is due to start in September and run through Christmas.
Required Skills and Experience as a History Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching History within a Secondary School
- Design a balanced curriculum that covers local, national, and world history while meeting educational board standards.
- Proven ability with good behaviour management
- Prepare imaginative lessons that utilise multimedia resources and interactive discussions.
