Are you a compassionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for a full‑time role? A supportive and inclusive Primary School in Nuneaton is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team from May through to the end of the summer term in July. This is a full‑time Learning Support Assistant position based within the school’s SEN provision room, supporting children with additional learning needs.
In this SEN LSA role, you will primarily work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 1 pupil with learning difficulties, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum and make progress. You will also support within the SEN provision where required, working alongside other pupils with a range of additional needs.

As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with learning difficulties.
- Supporting other pupils within the SEN provision when required.
- Adapting learning activities to meet the individual needs of the pupil.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and communication skills.
To be successful in this SEN Learning Support Assistant role, you will need:
- A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (ideally within a school setting).
- A calm, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Confidence supporting on a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable pupils.

- Competitive Salary – £92.56 - £100 per day
