Early Years Teacher required for a full-time long-term position in a welcoming Primary School in Cheltenham from September. This Early Years Teacher opportunity offers full Class Teacher responsibilities within a supportive EYFS setting, making it ideal for a passionate teacher looking for stability and excellent work life balance. The school is seeking a committed Early Years Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and support pupils throughout Reception.

Job Role:

  • Full Class Teacher responsibilities within a Reception class
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS and National Curriculum
  • Support pupils’ progress and development across Early Years
  • Maintain positive behaviour management in line with the Primary School policies
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff
  • Follow all safeguarding and behaviour policies within the Primary School

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as an Early Years Teacher, Class Teacher, or Supply Teacher
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and National Curriculum
  • Experience teaching within Reception and Early Years settings
  • Ability to manage full classroom responsibilities effectively
  • Passion for supporting pupils’ learning and development within a Primary School
  • Suitable for an experienced Early Years Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT)

  • £168.80 to £232.57 per day which equates to £32,916 to £45,352 per annum based on working 5 days per week for a full school year

Location: This position is in Cheltenham, which is easily commutable from Tewkesbury, Gloucester, Bishop’s Cleeve, Evesham, Pershore, and Ledbury and has excellent transport links from surrounding areas. The school also offers onsite parking.
