We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in Burntwood. This Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with the class teacher to support a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment in a Year 4 class.
The school is looking for a candidate with experience providing small-group and 1:1 interventions in core subjects.
This role will start as soon as possible and continue until February 2027. The working hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Wednesday. There is also the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant Role:
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
- Have good curriculum knowledge of Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Have experience working in nurseries or primary schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA.
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service or have one that was issued within the last 12 months.
- Be able to provide a minimum of two excellent references.
- Have recent UK school-based experience.
