Flourish Education are recruiting for a Business Teacher to join a secondary school in Solihull. This is a long-term opportunity for a teacher to deliver Business across KS3 and KS4, taking on full classroom responsibilities and supporting students throughout the academic year. The school is looking for a committed Business Teacher who can plan and deliver effective lessons, assess student progress and maintain high standards of behaviour. You will work alongside colleagues to support students in developing their knowledge and understanding of Business and prepare them for further study and employment. The Business Teacher role is due to start in September 2026 and continue until July 2027.
Job Role
- Deliver Business lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Mark and assess students' work and monitor progress
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management
- Encourage students to participate and develop their understanding of Business
- Build positive working relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities
Required Skills and Experience
- Business Teacher, Secondary Teacher, Business ECT or Supply Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
- Strong subject knowledge in Business
- Previous experience teaching Business within a UK secondary school
- Good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons independently
- Commitment to supporting students' academic progress
