Flourish Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Bromsgrove to recruit a Maths Teacher for a full-time position beginning in October 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school where high-quality teaching and student success are at the heart of everything they do.
The school is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Maths Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. You will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, helping pupils build confidence in mathematics, and supporting them to achieve their academic goals. This role would suit both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are keen to further develop their teaching practice within a collaborative department.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated staff team that values teamwork, professional growth, and a commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for every learner. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing and monitoring pupil progress, marking work, preparing reports, and attending parents' evenings as required.
This is a full-time position starting in October 2026 and continuing until February 2027, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate.
Required Skills and Experience as a Maths Teacher:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching Maths within a Secondary School
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Proven ability with good behaviour management
- Good commitment to providing a positive classroom culture
- Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, which equates to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working 5 days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1-M6)
