Flourish Education is currently looking to recruit ECT/NQT teachers to complete work in our schools in the Summer term and the new academic year. At the current time, demand for qualified teaching staff in schools is extremely high and Flourish are looking to recruit new talent for the September term. Flourish has strong links with schools across Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Birmingham enabling great opportunities for candidates seeking a role. The ideal ECT/NQT teacher would be someone who has previous experience working in any class within the Primary age range. To be considered, you will need to have a record of ‘Good’ or better classroom practice through placements. Up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum and a working knowledge of schemes, such as White Rose Maths, would be advantageous. A passion for education and the ability to teach in an exciting and engaging way are a must.
Flourish are looking to register candidates immediately. To apply for this ECT/NQT role you will need the following:
- Currently completing a QTS qualification.
- Confidence in teaching primary lessons to all abilities.
- A passion for education.
- Be adaptable and reliable, reacting with confidence to new challenges.
- DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
- Minimum of 2 excellent references required.
Responsibilities for the ECT/NQT role:
- To deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies.
- To work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met.
- Providing feedback to pupils, in line with the school’s policy.
- To attend meetings and training relevant to this role.
- To communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents.
- Set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.
Working as an ECT/NQT for Flourish Education you will receive excellent benefits including:
- A competitive salary of up to £163 per day which equates to £31,785 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year (dependent on role type).
