Flourish Education are recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Year 3 Teacher who can join a supportive Key Stage 2 team on a job share basis in Kings Norton. This role includes full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. Working with Flourish Education offers you the flexibility to choose roles that suit your availability, helping you to maintain a strong work/life balance. This will start off being a 3 day week role, and will continue until the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Marking work and providing constructive feedback in line with school policy
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Working collaboratively with your job share partner to ensure continuity of learning
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare policies are strictly followed

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Recent experience working within a UK Primary School

Benefits

  • £168.80 to £232.57 per day which equates to £32,916 to £45,351 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Year 3 Teacher position is based in Kings Norton, which is accessible from South Birmingham and surrounding areas, including Longbridge, West Heath, Rubery, Bartley Green, Quinton and Harborne.
