Flourish Education are recruiting for an experienced School Administrator for a Primary School in Aston, starting in September. The school is guided by the values of respect, honesty, trust, responsibility and resilience, and works closely with families to ensure every child enjoys school and achieves their best.

The position is full-time Monday to Friday on a long term basis. There is permanent opportunity too. The hours are 8am to 4pm but flexibility may be offered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting visitors and assisting with front‑of‑house enquiries
  • Answering and directing telephone calls
  • Inputting and updating school data systems

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role within a school is essential
  • Strong IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • A clear understanding of school data systems, school policies and procedures
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Data Protection
  • Good telephone manner
  • Experience using SIMS / ParentPay is desirable

  • £106.84 day rate to £110 day rate which equates to £20,834 per annum to £21,450 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year dependent on experience

This School Administrator opportunity is located in Aston which is easily commutable from Alum Rock and most areas of Birmingham via car, bus and train.
