Flourish Education are recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a Primary School in the Quinton area. This is a full‑time Reception Class Teacher position, starting in September and continuing until July 2027. The school is seeking a confident Primary Teacher who can plan engaging lessons that meet the expectations of the National Curriculum. This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Teacher with excellent behaviour management and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework. Knowledge and experience of the Little Wandle phonics programme is essential.
Required skills and experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience as a Primary Teacher or EYFS Class Teacher
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Confident teaching within EYFS
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Knowledge and experience of the Little Wandle phonics scheme
Benefits:
- £168.80 to £232.57 per day which equates to £32,916 to £45,351 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This position is in Quinton, with excellent transport links across Birmingham and is easily commutable from Harborne, Halesowen, Bearwood, Bartley Green, Edgbaston, and Selly Oak. The school is well connected by public transport and offers onsite parking.
