Flourish Education is recruiting a Pastoral Support Officer for a long-term role in Rubery, continuing for the remainder of the academic year. This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting behaviour and student wellbeing within a secondary school environment. The school is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Officer to provide support across key areas of student behaviour management.
As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment by managing on-call duties, supervising refocus provision, and supporting students throughout the school day. This position offers the opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive secondary school team.
Job Role- Manage on-call duties across the school
- Supervise students within the refocus provision
- Monitor and support students at designated duty points
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations throughout the school
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Support the smooth running of the school day
- Work closely with the wider pastoral team to support student wellbeing
- Experience working in a pastoral, behaviour, mentoring, or support role
