Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage Two Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Norton. This is a full-time role which is due to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. Our client is a friendly and inclusive school with a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff body. The school places a strong emphasis on ensuring children feel safe, valued, and engaged in their learning. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills to create a positive and structured environment for learning, while also ensuring pupils are well‑prepared for the transition into Key Stage 3.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 in line with the National Curriculum
  • Take full responsibility for your class, including behaviour management and pastoral care
  • Monitor pupil progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute to school reports and classroom documentation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Participate in school events and foster a positive classroom culture

Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience as a Primary Teacher, ideally KS2
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
