Flourish Education are recruiting for a Key Stage One Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Rubery. This is a full-time role which is due to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year. Our client is a friendly and inclusive school with a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff body. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills to create a positive and structured environment for learning, while also ensuring pupils are well‑prepared for the transition into Key Stage 2.
As a Key Stage One Teacher you will take on full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing lessons, as well as contributing to the wider life of the school. As a Key Stage One Teacher, you will:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 in line with the National Curriculum
- Take full responsibility for your class, including behaviour management and pastoral care
- Monitor pupil progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to school reports and classroom documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
- Participate in school events and foster a positive classroom culture
Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience as a Primary Teacher, ideally KS1
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
