Flourish Education are recruiting for an Administrator to join a Primary School in the Edgbaston area.
This is a full-time role starting in September 2026, with the potential to become a long-term opportunity.
Part-time applicants will also be considered.
The school is looking for an organised, professional and proactive Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and provide administrative support to staff, pupils and parents.
Responsibilities as a School Administrator
- Managing incoming calls, emails and visitors to the school office
- Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff team
- Maintaining accurate pupil records and updating the school's MIS system
- Supporting attendance, admissions and general school administration processes
- Assisting with letters, newsletters and communication with parents and carers
- Supporting reception duties and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed for visitors and staff
- Completing general administrative duties to support the efficient running of the school office
- Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working within a school office or administrative role
- Experience using school MIS systems such as SIMS, Arbor or Bromcom is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Professional and friendly manner when dealing with staff, pupils and parents
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office packages
