Flourish Education are working with a specialist school in Bewdley who are looking for a QTS-qualified SEN Teacher from September 2026 until June 2027.
The school provides specialist education for pupils with complex and additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties and behavioural needs. You will join a dedicated specialist team and provide structured, individualised teaching throughout the school day.
Job Role:

Plan and deliver lessons within a specialist setting

Teach pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and complex needs

Adapt lessons to individual learning profiles

Assess and monitor progress

Support emotional regulation and behaviour

Contribute to EHCP outcomes

Work closely with specialist Teaching Assistants

Maintain a calm and structured learning environment

Required Skills and Experience:

QTS is essential

Previous teaching experience

SEN or specialist education experience

Understanding of SEMH, ASD and ADHD

Experience supporting challenging behaviour

Strong behaviour management skills

Ability to adapt and differentiate teaching

Patient and consistent approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay from £174.71 to £240.70 per day, equivalent to £34,068 to £46,937 based on working five days a week for a full school year, dependent on experience (M1–M6)

This SEN Teacher role is based in Bewdley and is easily commutable from Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcester, Bridgnorth, Bromsgrove, Hagley and surrounding areas.
