Are you a compassionate and qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a full‐time role? Our partner school in Bidford-on-Avon, Alcester is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their team, starting immediately and continuing until July 2027. This is a full‐time role within the school's pre‐school room, working with young children and supporting their day to day learning and development.

As a Nursery Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with their learning and development through structured and play‐based activities.
  • Supervising and engaging children during indoor and outdoor play.
  • Assisting with feeding and personal care in a respectful and supportive manner.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction.
  • Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

To be successful in this Nursery Nurse role, you will need:

  • A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above).
  • A valid Pediatric First Aid certificate (essential).
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
  • Experience supporting children with personal care needs.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.

Working for Flourish Education as a Nursery Nurse you will receive:

  • Pay: £92.59 to £100.00 day rate which equates to £18,055 per annum to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year (dependent on experience).
  • Holiday Pay – 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.
  • Pension Contributions.
  • Free KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, inclusive of modules relating to legislation, FGM and abuse.
  • Refer a friend bonus scheme.
  • Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work.
