Flourish Education is working with a friendly Primary School in Atherstone that is looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their Nursery team.
The school has a strong focus on the EYFS framework, creating a nurturing environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and school-readiness. You’ll work closely with Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants and Class Teachers to provide children with engaging learning experiences and high-quality support.
About the Role
You’ll support children across the Nursery provision, including working 1:1 with children who have additional needs, as well as supporting group activities, continuous provision and indoor play.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting engaging activities and continuous provision
- Working alongside the Class Teacher and wider Early Years team
- Promoting positive behaviour, independence and communication
- Supporting safeguarding and creating a safe, inclusive environment
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential
- Level 3 Early Years Educator, CACHE, NVQ Childcare or relevant Early Childhood Studies qualification
- Previous UK school experience
- Experience working with Nursery/Early Years-aged children
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable
- A nurturing, reliable and team-focused approach
