Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher for a supportive primary school in Alcester, starting in September for the full academic year. This role is a full-time class teacher position, and responsibilities will include planning, marking, assessments, and attending parents' evenings and CPD sessions. The school provides a broad, engaging curriculum that inspires pupils to dream big, achieve their potential, and develop a lifelong love of learning. The key responsibilities of the Year 5 Teacher role include:

  • Take on full Class Teacher responsibilities including planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year assessments
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff within the Primary School

The successful Year 5 Teacher will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working as a Primary Teacher within a UK Primary School
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum of Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Experience supporting students through SATS
  • Proven ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom management skills
  • Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher with full classroom responsibilities
