As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Support pupils with their learning through one-to-one and small group activities.
- Assist the class teacher with lessons, classroom activities, and preparing resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, welcoming learning environment.
- Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and classroom activities.
Required Skills and Experiences as a Supply Teaching Assistant:
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification as a TA.
- Previous UK school experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, particularly across Reception, EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom settings.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
