Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic Early Careers Teacher looking to gain valuable experience in a Secondary School setting? Flourish Education are recruiting Early Careers Teachers to work as a Supply Teacher in Secondary Schools across Dudley and Sandwell. We offer flexible working, meaning you can choose when and where you work, allowing for the perfect work-life balance. Whether you are seeking day-to-day cover or a long-term role, we have opportunities available immediately and from September.

Job Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Maintain excellent behaviour management in the classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and school leadership.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Embrace opportunities for professional development to enhance your teaching skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Strong subject knowledge with a passion for education.
  • Ability to teach across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.

Our Promise to You!

  • £130 – £220 per day, equating to £25,350 – £42,900 per annum based on working full-time for a full school year.
  • The option of PAYE or Umbrella.
  • Holiday Pay – for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.

  • Free KCSIE-compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, including modules on legislation, FGM, and abuse.
