Responsibilities
florrent is looking for a Research & Development lab technician with experience working in a wet lab setting to help meet and maintain florrent\'s QA/QC processes through increasing production scale. In this role, you will
- Prepare chemicals and materials for analysis in accordance with florrent’s metrology SOPs
- Perform measurements, analyze, and report data
- Work in a small, interdisciplinary R&D team to run processes, experiments, and workflows that will help florrent quickly iterate towards commercialization of our first product
Qualifications

- B.S. or significant formal coursework and training (e.g. Associates Degree) concentrated in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Prior work experience in a laboratory
- Hands-on experience with fundamental chemistry and analytical measurements are strongly preferred
- Strong interest in learning and implementing QA/QC, conducting laboratory work and gaining expertise on laboratory metrology processes and instrumentation
- Excellent and proactive communication skills
