This role is about leadership that lasts. And not carrying everything alone. This is a role for a Registered Manager who believes that strong homes are built on clarity, consistency and relationships - and who wants the time, trust and support to lead in that way.

Why Florinee Homes? Florinee Homes is a growing organisation with a clear purpose: to provide safe, stable and nurturing homes where children can thrive - and where staff feel supported to do their best work. We believe Registered Managers set the tone for everything that follows. That’s why we prioritise:

  • Real support from senior leadership
  • Quality over chaos

This is not an organisation that leaves managers isolated or unsupported. We work collaboratively, value professional judgement, and create space for leaders to lead - not just react.

The role As Registered Manager / Home Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, and compliance of the home. You will be trusted to:

  • Lead with integrity and confidence
  • Develop a stable, motivated staff team
  • Ensure children experience safety, consistency, and care
  • Maintain high standards across all areas of practice

This role is suited to an experienced registered or aspiring manager who is passionate about doing the role properly - and who wants to build something sustainable rather than simply keep things afloat.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Overall leadership and management of the children’s home
  • Creating and maintaining a calm, safe, and nurturing environment
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
  • Developing, mentoring and supporting your management and care teams
  • Embedding quality, reflective practice, and continuous improvement
  • Working closely with external professionals, families, and placing authorities
  • Taking responsibility for outcomes, culture, and standards within the home

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting
  • A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, safeguarding, and best practice
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop staff teams
  • A calm, reflective and accountable leadership style
  • Confidence in decision‑making and professional judgement
  • A values‑driven approach focused on stability, consistency, and quality

What we offer:

  • A permanent leadership role within a supportive and growing organisation
  • Senior leadership support that is present, accessible and collaborative
  • Autonomy to lead your home with trust and backing
  • Opportunities to influence service development as Florinee continues to grow
  • A culture that values professionalism, reflection, and longevity
  • Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing support
  • Holiday entitlement and pension in line with statutory requirements

Safeguarding Florinee Homes Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and safer recruitment requirements.

Interested? If you’re a Registered or aspiring Manager looking for a role where leadership is respected, supported and genuinely valued, and where you can build a home you’re proud of, we’d welcome a conversation.
