We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, results-focused Logistics professional to coordinate, manage and optimise the physical flows and processes of our supply chain and logistic operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. They will also have management and leadership skills to oversee the activities, performance and optimisation of our logistics partners.

For the right candidate who is looking to progress within the company, this role will serve as a gateway into a leadership role for our Goods Out operation.

Location: Milton Keynes, UK

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30. However, operational needs, and participation in an on-call rota once fully integrated, will require flexibility occasionally.

Starting salary: Up to Β£33,000 dependent on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimise the physical logistics flows and processes nationally and internationally.
  • Organise and coordinate the shipments of our product between our factories in the UK and France to our 3PLs warehouse.
  • Manage the finished goods inventory internally and externally.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Taking bookings for collections and deliveries.
  • Inventory stock count and discrepancy correction.
  • Coordinating with transporters and warehouse teams.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum two years experience in the management/coordination of logistic operations involving transporting and warehousing.
  • Communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate in a way appropriate to different departments, levels and contexts.
  • Problem solving: Ability to anticipate issues, propose solutions independently and seek input from others to ensure continuous supply.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate proactive leadership across several organisational departments and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent skill in Microsoft Office suite.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience within a FMCG environment.
  • WMS or TMS user.
  • Capable of building or contributing to a Logistics Strategic vision.
  • Ability to communicate in French to facilitate working with some of the sites within the Brioche Pasquier Group.
