Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with medical procedures in the office.
- Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office, preferably with venipuncture skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; proof must be provided at hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days).
Screenings & Drug Testing
All offers of employment are contingent on a thorough background check and compliance with a drug and nicotine test. Vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, are required (unless an approved exemption). Medical marijuana cards are not recognized.
