About the role

To deliver a high-quality service in the provision of reception duties in all three reception areas within the hospital and outpatient clinics.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To provide ad hoc administrative support when required.
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service and care.
  • To maintain a high level of security awareness.
  • Provide a warm welcome to all guests on their arrival and assist them in a courteous, helpful manner.
  • Capable of dealing with any customer queries in a polite and pleasant manner, with any complaints being resolved wherever possible or escalated where applicable.
  • To answer the Hospital switchboard in a polite and courteous manner using the standard greeting as set by the organisation.
  • Ensure all enquiries are forwarded to the relevant department in a timely fashion.
  • To maintain security over Hospital property, as well as anything deposited or received at Reception by Hospital guests.
  • To be aware of the Hospital facilities and the procedures.
  • Assist customers by offering help, providing information and booking services where necessary.

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • 2 years exposure within a receptionist role.
  • Front of house experience.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
