About the role
This is a part-time role, 3 days per week. Join our dedicated team and make a real impact by providing powerful therapeutic support to individuals and groups across inpatient, day patient, and outpatient settings, guiding those with substance use disorders on their journey to recovery.
Who we’re looking for?
- Diploma or relevant qualification in addiction counselling/psychotherapy BACP or equivalent UK registered
- Knowledge of substance addictions and its treatment
- Addictions inpatient group therapy experience
- Experience working with addiction patients on an individual basis and with families
Main Duties
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions for patients.
- Prepare and lead psychoeducation groups focused on addiction and recovery.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to adapt and improve the therapy programme.
- Ensure the addictions therapy programme runs smoothly, offering diverse therapeutic approaches.
- Adapt flexibly to meet varying patient needs.
- Actively contribute to the multidisciplinary team with daily feedback on therapy and assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive therapy assessments to inform tailored interventions.
- Provide individual counselling/psychotherapy based on assessments or referrals.
