Florence Nightingale supports clients referred to us by organisations such as ACC, MOH, hospitals, community services and private providers. Clients come to us for short‑term help with home management or 24/7 care and support, or to be alongside families and clients at the end of life. Our group of companies includes Care on Call, Florence Nightingale and Medcall.

This unique business brings together nurses, funders, clients, their families/whānau, local GPs and other healthcare professionals to improve people’s lives. We are a 24/7 nationwide business with a team of caring, capable and well‑trained coordinators booking shifts, managing roster changes and organising staff across our New Zealand offices.

We are looking for a full time Administration Superstar to support our Care Coordinators and Managers in our Christchurch Office.

What will you do?

  • Triage care referrals and load onto database
  • Manage quality calls to clients and ensure they are happy with our service
  • Assist with monthly quality reports
  • Manage ad hoc projects, travel and events as needed
  • Provide support to the manager with all things admin
  • Take care of ordering supplies, mail, reception, etc.

The skills we are looking for are:

  • Excellent administration experience (minimum 1‑2 years)
  • Ability to juggle and prioritise urgent tasks
  • Awesome phone manner
  • Customer‑service focus
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector is a huge bonus
