Floreat Wandsworth Primary School is seeking a committed and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the development and daily management of our nurturing and engaging nursery environment.

Your Opportunity

In this key role, you will ensure that children thrive in a safe, caring, and stimulating setting, while building strong partnerships with parents, carers, and professionals. If you are committed to delivering high-quality teaching, implementing best practices, and fostering a love of learning, we would love to hear from you!

What we're looking for:

  • Early Years Level 3 qualification
  • GCSE grade ā€˜C’ or above in Maths and English
  • Current paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Basic food hygiene certificate
  • Up to date safeguarding training
  • Strong teaching experience in Early Years with a clear understanding of current pedagogy
  • Experience working in a nursery or school setting
  • Ability to manage and develop resources to support child development
  • High standard of written and oral communication

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Floreat Wandsworth, our cluster includes the following other schools: The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Cuddington Croft Primary School and Danetree Primary School. The Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary: Specialist 1 - 6 Ā£28,026 - Ā£29,225 (Inc. Ā£965 Inner London Weighting) Term-Time 39 weeks
  • Actual Salary: Ā£25,115.21 - Ā£26,189.68 (incl. of Inner London)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
  • Contract Type: Permanent and Full-Time
  • Closing Date: Friday 9th January at 9.30am
  • Interview Date: TBC
