Floreat Montague Park Primary School currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time Teaching Assistant to join a hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care. An opportunity exists for the right candidate to provide class cover, remunerated at the cover supervisor rate.
Your opportunity
You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, on an individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure the students’ learning needs are being met.
As a Teaching Assistant within Floreat Montague Primary School, you’ll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with professional development, training, and career progression opportunities available; including apprenticeships or even the possibility of Teacher Training via our GLF Teaching School Hub.

The Details
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract type: Part-time, permanent
- Salary: Associate 2.1 £23,914 FTE (actual £14,858)
- Hours of work: 26 hours/4 days per week (8:30 am - 3:30 pm - to include a Friday). Term-time (Plus INSET): 39 Weeks
