We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive team. Your opportunity:

Working under the direction of the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, both individually and in small groups, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools, you'll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.

What we are looking for:

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification.
  • Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

About Floreat Wandsworth:

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Floreat Wandsworth, our cluster includes the following other schools: The Vale Primary School, Banstead Infant School, Warren Mead Infant and Junior Schools, Cuddington Croft Primary School and Danetree Primary School.   • Start Date: September 2026
  • FTE Salary: GLF Specialist £27,061 - £35,984 plus £965 Inner London Weighting
  • Actual Salary: £25,115.21 - £33,111.47 (incl. Inner London Weighting)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours a week - 8am-4pm (term time 39 weeks incl. INSET)
