Are you passionate about sport and keen to inspire the next generation? Floreat Montague Park is looking for an energetic and committed Sports Coach to bring enthusiasm, teamwork and a love of physical activity into the school day. You’ll support pupils in developing their sporting skills, boosting their confidence, and raising participation rates in sport. Through teaching PE lessons, you will support the delivery of high-quality coaching.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for sport to work alongside the teaching team. You will support the delivery of high-quality coaching, contribute to the PE curriculum, and assist with a variety of extra-curricular sports activities including organising fixtures with other schools and coaching sporting teams in their training and matches. Some mornings will be spent supporting teachers in class; you will also lead engaging sports clubs for pupils from EYFS to Year 6, taking place during lunchtimes and after school.

  • Experience in coaching sports to children
  • Sports qualification (desirable)
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
  • Be a confident and clear communicator
  • Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

The Details

  • Start Date: September 2026
  • Pay Range: GLF Specialist Grade £27,061 FTE (£25,058 actual)
  • Hours: 38.75 hours per week Mon – Fri 8:30 am – 4:45 pm (Term time 39 weeks)
  • Closing Date: 8th June 2026 at 9:30 am
  • Interview Date: TBC
