Are you looking to make your first move from practice into industry? We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant position with a growing and ambitious business in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a finalist or recently qualified accountant from a small or mid-sized accountancy practice who is keen to broaden their commercial experience and gain exposure to a fast-paced industry environment.

This role offers far more than traditional month-end reporting. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and, over time, gain exposure to acquisitions, integrations and M&A activity, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career.

Ideally you will:

  • Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or in the final stages of qualification
  • Have experience working within a small or medium-sized accountancy practice
  • Have exposure to preparing/producing management accounts
  • Be looking to make your first move from practice into industry
  • Have strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
  • Be commercially minded and keen to develop beyond traditional accounting responsibilities
