Assistant Management Accountant - Immediate Start in Birmingham

Job Description Assistant Management Accountant – Birmingham £28,000–£30,000 | Hybrid | Study Support I’m currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established business based in Birmingham City Centre. This would be a great opportunity for someone already working as an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Management Accountant who has a strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and is looking to build on their month-end experience and studies. The successful candidate will ideally be looking to really develop within the role over the next 18 months, with the opportunity to then progress into a Management Accountant position. You’ll be supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including: Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Posting expenses and other transactional finance tasks Supporting with month-end processes and management accounts preparation Ideally, you will: Be confident with bank reconciliations and posting journals, with good Excel (Pivot Tables and V Look Ups) skills as a minimum Be studying towards an accountancy qualification or looking to start your studies Be keen to develop with a business over the longer term Have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for learning!
