We’re working with a privately owned business who are looking to appoint a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support the finance function on a day-to-day basis. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with solid accounts experience who enjoys variety, accuracy and working as part of a small, supportive team. Flexibility around hours is available, making this a great opportunity to fit around other commitments.
The Role
- Support the finance team with transactional accounting and general finance administration, helping to ensure accurate records and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Some credit control duties
- General finance administration and ad-hoc support to the wider finance team
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance support role
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload
- Confident communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
