We’re working with a privately owned business who are looking to appoint a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support the finance function on a day-to-day basis.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with solid accounts experience who enjoys variety, accuracy and working as part of a small, supportive team. Flexibility around hours is available, making this a great opportunity to fit around other commitments.
The Role
As Accounts Assistant, you’ll support the finance team with transactional accounting and general finance administration, helping to ensure accurate records and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Some credit control duties
- General finance administration and ad-hoc support to the wider finance team
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance support role
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised, reliable and able to manage your own workload
- Confident communicating with internal teams and external suppliers
