Job Title: Biohazard Cleaning Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking professional and reliable Biohazard Cleaning Technicians to join our UK-wide team. This role involves the safe cleaning, decontamination, and disposal of hazardous biological materials in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. No prior experience is necessary β€” full training will be provided to ensure you meet all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to biohazard incidents across the UK, including blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.

Follow strict protocols for decontamination and sanitisation of affected areas.

Use specialized cleaning equipment and chemical disinfectants safely and effectively.

Handle, transport, and dispose of biohazardous waste according to UK regulations.

Maintain and correctly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Document cleaning procedures, incident reports, and waste disposal records.

Provide support to clients with professionalism and discretion.

Assess contaminated sites to determine the scope of cleaning required.

Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Attend company-provided training and certification programs in biohazard safety, infection control, and hazardous waste management.

Qualifications & Skills:

No prior experience necessary β€” full training provided.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and wear PPE for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.

Comfortable working in emotionally challenging environments.

Must have a valid driver\’s license and be willing to travel across the UK.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to biohazardous materials, bodily fluids, and chemical disinfectants.

Work may involve trauma scenes, crime scenes, hoarding situations, or infectious disease contamination.

Flexible hours, including on-call and emergency response shifts.

PPE and specialist equipment supplied by the company.

Van will be provided with fuel card

Salary:: 28k-35k

Training provided for all new hires.

Travel and accommodation support for UK-wide assignments.
