Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading East Midlands based Flooring Contractors who carry out works UK wide via their network of Offices in their search for an experienced Sub Contractor Contracts Manager to run jobs in the West Midlands around Birmingham and wider West Mids areas.
You will be working on a variety of jobs of varying values concurrently, ensuring that Labour and Materials are where they need to be at the right time and that Clients are happy with the work carried out on the sites.
You will therefore be an experienced Contract or Project Manager, ideally from within Commercial or Contract Flooring (Consideration will be given to PM’s and CM’s from the wider Construction sector) with a great eye for detail and experience of the following:
- Labour Sourcing and Management.
- Sub Floor Preparation.
- Knowledge and experience of the correct method of installing products such as DPM, Latex, Vinyl, Carpet Tiles, Sheet Vinyl, Nosings etc.
- Programme Planning of all works.
- H&S Management.
- Regular Planned site visits to check Quality & Programme.
- Produce Accurate Weekly Pay Certificates for Sub-Contractors.
The above is by no means exhaustive but gives a good overview as to our clients expectations for this varied and interesting role. Bottom line, you will be a confident Project or Contract Manager with a great track record of delivering Projects on Time and to Budget with excellent client liaison and management skills (expectation management etc) to offer our clients a fully capable ambassador who can be trusted to carry out works as required as an autonomous unit and also as part of the company generally.
The Role will be covering works around the M6 / M40 / M42 corridors around the South East and Central Birmingham, Coleshill and Coventry areas of the West Midlands so ideally you will be based in or near to this area.
In return our clients are offering a Competitive Package of approximately £45k per year negotiable plus Bonus.
