Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing warehouse operations at retail stores. This includes supervising warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, as well as supporting the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure efficient shipping and receiving.
2. Manage daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control.
3. Handle storage transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
4. Maintain warehouse equipment, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
5. Implement and oversee warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
6. Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
7. Manage disciplinary actions and foster a productive work environment.
8. Address employee inquiries and resolve issues.
9. Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations.
10. Complete activity reports and monitor paperwork flow.
11. Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, and reports.
12. Execute Storage Buy Audit COP.
13. Ensure proper staging and storage of products for safety and space conservation.
14. Oversee inventory rotation.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proficiency in basic math and computer skills, especially Windows systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Availability for extended hours during peak seasons.

Working Conditions

Work involves frequent exposure to warehouse environments and moving vehicles, with noise levels typically moderate to loud.

Physical Requirements

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently; frequent use of hands and fingers; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and stoop.

Store Hours

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
