Due to our ever-increasing business growth, Floor Cleaning Machines Ltd (Part of the Nilfisk Group) have various vacancies. We are offering the ideal candidate the opportunity to:

Experience:

  • Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
  • Field service experience
  • Full driving licence

Responsibilities:

  • Working mainly in the high street food retail sector, engineers will need to pre-plan site visits according to our customers' service level agreements.
  • Attend follow-up calls in a timely manner to complete repairs where additional parts have been ordered.
  • As well as carrying out repairs, engineers are also responsible for carrying out scheduled portable appliance testing.
  • Maintain the highest standard of service and repair made to machinery.
  • Complete repairs in line with our safe working policies.
  • Update and order replacement parts through our internal software.
  • Manage stock and cleanliness of company vehicle.
  • Work on a weekend rota basis (Saturdays) one in every 4 weeks.

Skills:

  • Excellent fault finding both electrically and mechanically.
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good IT skills.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience in battery and mains operated floor cleaning equipment.
  • Experience on PA testing.
