A Finance Assistant to work within the Flood Re Finance Team supporting and reporting directly to the Management Accountant and Finance Manager, providing support to the wider Flood Re Team as required.
- Employee Expenses logging, coding & scanning.
- Fielding Invoices, Employee Expenses and Credit Card Expenses to be signed off.
- Producing expense reports and running the payment processes for claims, invoices, and employee expenses.
- Supporting the Treasury Process & Maintain Approved Suppliers List.
- Preparing the Expense Accruals Process.
- Administering all Finance Policies and Procedures.
- Managing the Accounts Payable Mailbox.
- Supporting the payment solution project to automate the payment run.
- Supporting the Finance Manager and Management Accountant with adhoc projects and tasks as they arise, such as but not limited to:
- Year end.
- S&P annual data collection.
- Company insurance annual renewal data collection.
- Delegated Authority maintenance and sign off process.
- Finance SharePoint site maintenance.
Knowledge and Experience
- Strong IT skills especially confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship management skills.
- Discretion is required as this role will often deal with highly confidential information.
- Uses initiative to find solutions and approaches problems with curiosity and an open mind.
- Effective time management skills; able to manage several tasks and conflicting priorities.
- Good knowledge and experience of general insurance desirable but not essential.
