Implementation Engineer in Cambridge

You'll work directly with NHS trusts, understanding their services and implementing end-to-end solutions that work best for their patients.</p> <h2>What you'll do</h2> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end technical implementation for NHS customers such as, EHR integrations, data reporting, patient onboarding.</li> <li>Build custom flows for patient entry and discharge points that fit into customers' existing workflows mapping to how care is actually delivered.</li> <li>Work alongside the implementation team to onboard new and prospective customers, answering technical queries along the way.</li> <li>Help customers identify opportunities for process improvements within their own organisations.</li> <li>Continuously improve our time to onboard new customers, carrying learnings from each implementation into the next.</li> <li>Understand customers' true needs and derive requirements that help accelerate Flok's core mission.</li> </ul> <h2>We're looking for someone who is</h2> <ul> <li>An engineer at heart—happy writing code in Python, Type Script or whatever best fits a bespoke integration, but equally able to identify organisational or process solutions.</li> <li>A clear communicator who can explain complex topics to both senior NHS leaders and administrative staff.</li> <li>Able to translate complex and varied NHS processes into clear requirements for product and engineering teams.</li> <li>Genuinely motivated to improve patient experience and outcomes.</li> </ul> <h2>Bonus points</h2> <ul> <li>Previously worked in healthtech or enterprise software in a customer-facing role.</li> <li>3+ years in an engineering role with direct customer contact, such as an implementation engineer, technical support engineer or forward deployed engineer.</li> <li>Experience integrating with NHS systems and common healthcare standards and APIs such as PDS, GP Connect, HL7 FHIR, Systm One, EMIS etc.</li> <li>Familiarity with data analysis techniques and able to use data to communicate.</li> </ul> <h2>What We Offer</h2> <ul> <li>Challenging work at the frontier of AI-native healthcare</li> <li>In-person collaborative culture in a beautiful work space in the Cambridgeshire countryside</li> <li>An onsite gym and digital health subscription of your choice</li> <li>Early stage equity with employee-friendly terms (via an EMI scheme)</li> <li>Comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and optical) and life insurance</li> <li>Optional remote working on Wednesdays, with an annual allowance of 10 extra remote days</li> <li>Desk setup allowance for your favourite keyboard / mouse / whatever!</li> <li>Monthly team feasts (and the BBQ is used most days)</li> <li>A fast paced work environment geared towards excellence and professional growth (with annual training budget)</li> <li>A chance to have a big impact in a small team transforming care and outcomes at population scale</li> </ul> <h2>About Flok</h2> <p>More than <b>a billion people</b> a year suffer unnecessarily from conditions like MSK pain, where the right treatment approach is well-established but undeliverable at scale.
