The Role Flok is building the new standard for healthcare delivery, loved by patients and partners, and we're growing fast. We're looking for an experienced and ambitious engineering leader to help us expand our capabilities, product range and geographies by building a world-class engineering team. You'll fully take over the management and growth of the team from the CTO, working closely with senior management to ensure that we are capable of achieving our ambitious goals. To excel in this role, you'll have: A track record of recruiting great engineers, building teams from the ground up, and leading engineering teams of >30. We have a lot of hiring to do, and you'll need to be confident and excited by this. You understand the joys and challenges of building software, and are passionate about growing high performance teams to do it. Strong systems and first-principles thinking. You'll need to be comfortable in an environment with limited existing processes, and at the same time excited to design new systems to help the team grow and flourish. Technical background—your engineering instincts and achievements are respected by your peers and you can comfortably discuss advanced computing topics. You'll be completely comfortable reading code in most commonly-used languages, and happy to occasionally get your hands dirty writing production code.
