Every healthcare system in history has been a fundamental trade-off between quality and scale - our mission is to change that. We're building a new category of AI-native healthcare provider, using full-stack care automation to deliver world-class treatment at population scale. Our AI physiotherapy clinic is already democratising access to 24/7 healthcare for NHS patients across the UK, and we're just getting started.
The Role
We’re building a new category of healthcare - one that’s patient-led, predictive, and designed to scale. As a digital-native provider, we deliver care through personalised video experiences that adapt to each patient and create the feeling of one-to-one care, without the need to leave home. For a product designer, this means going beyond screens. You’ll shape how care is experienced end-to-end: designing systems that drive engagement, support behavioural change, and make high-quality treatment accessible at scale. You’ll join as the second designer, working alongside the Design Lead. Together, you’ll own design across the product - expanding it to a wider patient base, and across new conditions, all while improving our internal tools. You’ll play a key role in shaping how design shows up as the company scales. Some of the work is polished and user-facing. Some is messy and internal. All of it matters.
What you’ll do
- Design solutions to clinical challenges, including patient engagement and adherence to in-app care programmes
- Improve internal efficiency by designing tools used by clinicians and other staff to deliver care
- Evolve and maintain our design system across devices, platforms, and accessibility needs
- Distill patient and clinician feedback to uncover unmet needs and opportunities
- Contribute to broader design work, such as brand direction, website updates, video, and ad hoc projects
About you
- 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in a tech or startup environment
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe tools; you experiment with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code) to improve your workflow
- You take ownership and move things forward, balancing thoughtful craft with speed
- Experience designing complex products from the ground up
- You have empathy for the end-user and love championing their needs
- Comfortable contributing across product, web, and visual design when needed
- Able to work with ambiguity and make progress without perfect clarity
Bonus Points for
- Some front-end knowledge or familiarity with modern prototyping / vibe-coding tools
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design
What We Offer
- Challenging work at the frontier of AI-native healthcare
- In-person collaborative culture in a beautiful work space in the Cambridgeshire countryside
- An onsite gym and digital health subscription of your choice
- Early stage equity with employee-friendly terms (via an EMI scheme)
- Comprehensive medical coverage (including dental and optical) and life insurance
- Optional remote working on Wednesdays, with an annual allowance of 10 extra remote days
