DTGen is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead the sale of our innovative power generation solutions within the data centre market. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive revenue growth in our data centre power generation business by meeting sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, creating tailored strategies to secure clients
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients through regular meetings, business reviews, and post-sales support
- Manage the sales journey, working closely with technical and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Develop and execute dynamic sales strategies, including prospecting, cold-calling, client meetings, and negotiations
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and performance reporting
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales collateral, campaigns, and promotional activities
- Represent DT Gen at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand our network and visibility within the data centre space
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a sales management or business development role within power generation, cooling systems, UPS systems, switchgear, HVAC, or similar equipment in the data centre environment
- Proven track record in driving sales growth, building relationships, and managing key accounts
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Awareness of Uptime Institute certifications and other relevant standards would be an asset
Essential Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of the data centre market and associated power generation solutions
- Ability to work with complex technical teams and understand client-specific needs
- Excellent report generation and pipeline management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM systems to track sales performance and customer interactions
Location & Flexibility:
- Hybrid working: Ideally 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, but flexible depending on business needs
- Travel nationwide to client sites and attend industry events
