How you’ll power our business as an Operational Trainer - Driver Training & Compliance:

  • This is more than a training role – this is a national leadership position in driver standards and compliance.
  • Act as the national authority on professional driving standards at Flogas.
  • Serve as the strategic lead for coaching capability across the organisation.
  • Be the final decision-maker on escalated DriveCam and training matters.
  • Lead the development of a consistent, professional, and compliant driver training programme nationwide.
  • Provide expert coaching and support to Driver Trainer Assessors (DTAs), managers, and drivers.
  • Drive improvements in safe and compliant driving practices across the business.
  • Design and deliver structured, high-impact training programmes.
  • Apply recognised frameworks to ensure learning is clear and measurable.
  • Align all training outcomes with operational priorities and business goals.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Strong experience in driver training, coaching, or compliance roles.
  • Proven adjudication and decision-making skills in safety-critical environments.
  • Class 1 license ADR.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK regularly to support sites.
  • Instructional qualification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
  • A Criminal (DBS) Check will apply to this post.
