Here’s how you’ll power our business as a Distribution Manager
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Distribution Manager to lead our in-house fleet of 3.5 tonne vans across two national distribution sites and three satellite hubs. This is a key role in keeping our medical gas operations moving safely, efficiently, and on time. Reporting to the Head of Operations for Flogas Medical Gases, you'll be responsible for managing daily transport operations, leading and supporting drivers and support staff, and ensuring top-tier compliance and safety standards at every stage of the journey. From maintaining our fleet and working with external suppliers to driving continuous improvement and keeping costs in check, you’ll make sure our cylinders of Oxygen and Nitronox get to where they need to be – reliably and responsibly. If you’re a natural leader with strong transport management experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
What we need from you
- Experienced transport manager who can demonstrate a strong track record in managing transport operations (CPC holder would be desirable).
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Computer literacy is essential for maintaining records and reporting on transport activities.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory as travel to other depots will be required.
- Experience managing and motivating a team, setting clear goals and ensuring high performance.
- Prepared to work flexibly to ensure outstanding customer service.
